KCCM Awarded SUNY Albany Mohawk Tower
KCCM was recently awarded the SUNY Mohawk Tower Renovation, a $25 million project that is the first phase of a four-phase residence hall renovation.
The Mohawk Tower is 24-stories tall and was constructed in 1972. The 100,000 sq. ft. residence hall houses 440 suite-style beds, lounge space, building amenities, and a weather observatory on the roof level. The scope includes the renovation of existing interior spaces, replacement of exterior windows and doors, replacement of the heating and ventilation systems, replacement of plumbing systems, equipment and fixtures, repairs to the exterior precast concrete façade, replacement of the existing elevators, installation of a fire protection system, and the removal of hazardous materials.
The project will begin this Spring.
